This project addresses control, navigation and perception issues for autonomous robotic ground exploration and activity in unstructured environments. The TIGRE robot prototype consists in an electric propulsion all terrain vehicle equiped with on board processing, wireless comunications,an infra-red termographic camera, laser rangefinder, visible spectrum camera, precision GPS receiver and inertial sensors for the navigation subsystem.

This robot is aimed at demonstration of concept and serves as research platform in applications such as outdoor transportation, security, rescue support operations etc.
