Robots
The laboratory robots span from small wheeled land mobile robots (such as the microrobotics kits) with low computational power and functionalities to advanced land mobile robots such as the Robocup Middle Size League player of ISePorto Team and Unmaned Aerial Vehicles being as the FALCOS prototypes.
Additionaly the laboratory develops work and research in colaboration with other instituitions robots. Among these the LSTS-FEUP underwater vehicles are an important mean of collaboration either by the support of operations from LSA and the integration of specialised sub-systems.
Our Robots
ISePorto Team robots |
Robotic soccer robots developed to participate in Robocup's Middle Size League.
These robots possess a modular and inovative kicker design.
See the ISePorto Team site. Additionaly you can find photos and movies from games where they partcipated in the Photos / movies section

Falcos |
Autonomous aerial vehicles for monitoring and surveilance. |
First Utopia Robot prototypes |
These robots were designed as the first prototype for the Utopia soccer player robots (now part of the ISePorto Team). The prototypes were developed by students of ISEP and were intended to participate in robotics contests in the Portuguese Robotics Festival held at Guimarães in May 2001 |

Learn with Robotics ("Aprender com Robótica") |
This project is a initiative towards the use of mobile robotics in education.
It consists in the development of a modular mobile robotics kit, curricular materials adapted to different degrees of scholarship (from high school to undergraduate), organization of courses, assembling sessions, competitions and workshops. |
