LSA-ISEP's Organized Robotica 2004 in cooperation with FEUP and won 2nd and 6th places in autonomous driving, 4th place in robotic soccer and 1st place for supported high school robot (in project Aprender com Robótica).

The LSA is multidisciplinary laboratory oriented towards the participation in R&D projects, advanced education activities and technical consulting and services.

It is a research unit of the Institute of Engineering of the Porto, a school of the Porto Polytechnic Institute.

The laboratory activity aims to develop and implement inovative aproaches in the areas of automation, mobile robotics and environmental monitoring. These result from the synthesis of tecnologies associated with control systems, embedded and real-time systems.

The group interests and expertise span the scientific and technological areas related with autonomous systems. Namely:

Embedded Systems
Digital hardware design
Operating Systems Hardware Integration
Real-Time Operating Systems: VxWorks, QNX, Linux, RTX51
